Method have announced that they will attend that Game Show Global eSports Cup with two stand-ins due to visa issues.
With just 48 hours before the Global eSports Cup starts, Method have been handed a heavy blow as Ivan "spaze" Obrezhan and Dmitriy "facecrack" Alekseyev have both been ruled out of the tournament because of visa problems.
Replacing them in Vilnius will be Estonian duo Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar and Hendrik "cheti" Vallimägi, who are known for their time in OnlineBots. Earlier this week, fejtZ made headlines when he was released by Publiclir following alleged internal problems.
facecrack and spaze could not get visas to enter Lithuania
Method, who finished 3rd-4th at the CIS Minor Championship, have been drawn alongside Cloud9, G2 and Astralis in Group B of the Global eSports Cup. Their first match in the $200,000 tournament will see them face the Danish giants.
This means that Method will attend the Global eSports Cup with:
Nikita "waterfaLLZ" Matveyev
Savelii "jmqa" Bragin
Alexey "ub1que" Polivanov
Kristjan "fejtZ" Allsaar (stand-in)
Hendrik "cheti" Vallimägi (stand-in)
